Workshops
A creative workshop where you will learn about the Survival Techniques street art project and develop some of your own phrases and reminders that help you to feel good. Using the most personally resonant action or phrase from this new list of coping strategies, you will create your own typographic artwork on paper to take home with you. Naomi will be on hand to give guidance on crafting a phrase, lettering and use of colour.
The workshop uses Daler Rowney mixed media markers filled with acrylic inks, along with letter stencils. The markers are easy to use, suitable for all abilities and produce bright, colourful artwork with a painterly finish.
Suitable for all abilities; all welcome; no need to consider yourself arty or creative to join in.
If the weather is fine the workshop will be held outside on the beautiful terrace.
