Hide Less Chat More

A revamp of the very first Survival Techniques mural I painted.

My original mural on this wall had been covered over with tags, and so on the 2-year anniversary of the first painting, a group of friends came over and we painted together in the sunshine and had a mini party. Lots of brilliant people helped me with my very first mural and it was a great opportunity to celebrate and paint with some of them again.

I’ve collected lots of experiences and words from friends and family, which have inspired the phrasing of current paintings. The words for this mural came from the very first friend I spoke to, who said that when she feels low she wants to hide away and doesn't want to see anyone. But if she makes herself meet a friend, and have a little chat she feels much better.
